Alma Daubert

Alma Daubert, 90, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 2, 1932, in Oley Township, she was the daughter of the late Amy M. Ohlinger. Alma was the wife of the late Harold J. “Hap” Daubert, Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage at his time of passing in 2007.

Alma was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School and later graduated from Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. Alma worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery for 2 ½ years and for Dr. Gilmore as an office nurse for 30 years. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. Alma also was a member of Alsace Senior Club and was the minority leader at the polls for many years. For 15 years, Alma also served as the Muhlenberg Township Health Inspector.

Alma is survived by her children, Christine L. Carl and Harold J. Daubert, Jr., husband of Vicky. Also surviving are grandchildren, Matthew J. Carl, husband of Beth, Jessica K. Branch, wife of Travis, Devin A. Adam, wife of Jimmy, and Rebecca L. Daubert, and great-grandchildren, Renee K. Carl, Eric L. Branch, Dawson J. Carl, Dante L. Branch, Carter Adam, and Liam Adam.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple.

Burial will take place in Berks County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4201 Stoudt's Ferry Bridge Road, Reading, PA 19605.
