Ann Marie Kirsch

Ann Marie Kirsch, 83, of Temple, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Tuesday June 11th in the Lutheran Home At Topton.

She was married to the late Miles R. "Red" Kirsch who passed away October 24, 2008.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late B. Franklin Reber, Sr. and Ann (Kennedy) Reber.

She graduated from Reading High School in 1948. She then attended Reading Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated in 1951 as a Registered Nurse. She was employed at Community General Hospital in Reading, then at Reading Hospital as a private duty nurse for many years.
She was a Registered Nurse Supervisor responsible for a unit of nurses who handled patient management for Aetna Insurance in Reading for fifteen years, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of the Alumni Association of Reading Hospital School of Nursing.
She enjoyed board games and harvesting the vegetable garden.
She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Ali.

Surviving is one daughter, Karen E., wife of Mark T. Yanus of Kutztown.
She is predeceased by a son, Timothy C. Kirsch.
There are three grandchildren, Alixandra B. Yanus and her significant other Daniel P. Tappen of High Point, NC, Tara L., wife of Miguel Rivera of Lebanon, and Zachary J. Kirsch of Murfreesboro, TN.
There are two sisters, Carol Reber of Cumru Twp. And Helen Reber of Reading.
She also was predeceased by a brother, B.Franklin Reber, Jr.

Funeral services will be Monday June 17th at 10:30 AM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Entombment to follow in Laureldale Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
