Armando F. Durinzi Sr

Armando F. Durinzi, Sr., 82, of Exeter Twp. passed away Sunday June 29th in his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was married to Louise M. (Cagnetti) Durinzi. Armando and Louise celebrated sixty two years of marriage.

Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Carlo and Antonia (Ciampini) Durinzi.

He was a 1949 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was a self employed mushroom grower in Temple.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

He was a longtime member of the St. Marco Club in Temple and was a avid New York Yankees fan.

Armando believed in food, family, and friends and had a big heart.

Surviving with his wife are three children, Rene A., wife of Michael Wummer of Exeter Twp., Carlo G. Durinzi, husband of Sandra of Wyomissing, and Armando F. Durinzi, Jr., husband of Melissa of Riverview Park.

There are six grandchildren, Zachary and Andrew Wummer, Jacqueline Torres, Julia Messersmith, Armando F. Durinzi, 3rd, and Andre Durinzi.

Also, two great grandchildren, Isabella Torres and Mason Messersmith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday July 3rd at 11 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605 (Hyde Park). A viewing will be held Thursday morning from 9 am until time of mass in Holy Guardian Angels RCC.

Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Armando F. Durinzi, Sr. to Holy Guardian Angels RCC education (school) fund, 3125 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605.
