Bessie E. Krumanocker
March 21, 1922 — December 25, 2017
Bessie E. (Guth) Krumanocker, 95, of Ontelaunee Township, passed away Monday, December 25th in the Reading Hospital.
Bessie was married to the late Henry S. Krumanocker, Sr. who passed away August 2, 1996.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guth.
She was a faithful member of Maidencreek Church in Blandon.
Bessie and her late husband, Henry, were fruit growers owning and operating the Maidencreek Orchards in Maidencreek Township for thirty two years.
Bessie loved nature and especially enjoyed bird watching.
Surviving are three children, Nancy I. Landis, widow of Barry Landis of Leesport, Henry S. Krumanocker, Jr. and wife Darlene of Ontelaunee Twp., and David J. Krumanocker and wife Candy of Shoemakersville.
There are eight grandchildren, Brenda Smith, Bruce Landis, Donna Kauffman, Dawn Main, Jennifer Foo, Karen Roth, Cherilyn Peters, and R. Alan Krumanocker.
Also, fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Bessie is predeceased by a son, Robert L. Krumanocker and survived by his wife, Janice Krumanocker of Wyomissing.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29th at Noon in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Reverend Sara Hertzog officiating.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 11 am until time of service in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Twp.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maidencreek Church, 261 Main St., Blandon, PA 19510.
