Betty Jane Ernst

Betty Jane Ernst, 68, of Womelsdorf, passed away Monday, January 18th in her residence of natural causes.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Claude Ernst and Violet (Fichthorn) Ernst.

She was a 1965 graduate of Reading High School. She was employed for thirty years for the Bachman Company.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, and drawing.

Surviving is a daughter, Laurie J. Moyer and husband Andrew of Womelsdorf and a grandchild, Riley Moyer.

There are seven siblings, Patricia Dunlap of Bernville, John Ernst of Berks Co., Ernest Ernst of Reading, Bruce Ernst of Fleetwood, Leroy Ernst of Myrtle Beach, SC, Norman Ernst of Muhlenberg Twp., and Gloria Schlegel of West Reading.

She is predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 27th at 11 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Rev. Robert Argot officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
