Betty J. (Haag) Schlenker

Betty J. Schlenker, 91, of Shartlesville, passed away on December 6, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

Born on May 25, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie (Kramer) Haag. Betty was the wife of the late Alvin P. Schlenker.

Betty was a member of Friden’s Church in Shartlesville and held active memberships at Northkill Rod & Gun Club and Shartlesville Fire Company.

Betty is survived by her children, Paul Schlenker, husband of Diane, Jean Bromell, wife of Don, and Daniel Schlenker. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Alvin Schlenker, Patty Kintzer, wife of Ronald, and Michelle Bromell, fiancé of Gary Emerich, and four great grandchildren, David, Molly, Zoe and Sierra.

Betty was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Wenrich.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.

Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville, is entrusted with arrangements.
