Carl G. Houck

Carl G. Houck, 66, of Penn Township, passed away early Sunday morning, March 31^st in his residence.

Carl was married to Donna D. (Hoffert) Houck. Carl and Donna were married on May 24, 2003.

Born in West Wyomissing, he was the son of the late Earl S. and Helen B. (Gicker) Houck.

Additional survivors include Carl’s children,  Eric Houck and wife, Amanda Houck and a grandson, Carter Houck, Todd Houck and wife Jen Houck and three grandchildren, and Matt O’Toole and one grandson.

Also, a stepson Corey Davenport and wife Karen Davenport and four grandchildren.

There are two sisters, Irene Sands and Mary Fackler, wife of Scott Fackler.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Pearl Zimmerman, June Lesher, Clair G. Houck, and Ruth Houck. Also, he is predeceased by his mother in law, Mom Mom Anna Hoffert.

Carl is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his loving pup, Freyja and predeceased by his beloved pups, NaGo and CaVern.

Carl was a Union Carpenter for various Construction Companies.

He was an avid fisherman, loved to ride his motorcycle, and a very creative woodworker, creating his own things.

In his earlier years he coached baseball and was a Scoutmaster.

Carl enjoyed music, he was a drummer in numerous bands, was a Disc Jockey, and enjoyed Karaoke.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
