Carol A. Reber, 65, of Temple, passed away on April 17, 2021 with friends and family by her side, after a brave battle against cancer.
Born on January 2, 1956 in Reading., she was a daughter to the late Evan E. & Jean W (Williamson) Reber.
She was a 1973 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a member of Christ Church UCC in Temple. Carol worked in a/p at Glidden Paints for many years, followed by becoming a “carney man” traveling all over to carnivals, fairs & festivals working for Berks Pizza. During the winter, she would live in Hawaii and sell Kona coffee beans from a trailer. Some other mentionable jobs included bartending at The Wander Inn and The Van Reed. She was even a Winston Cup Girl at Pocono Raceway.
Carol is survived by her loving companion of 13 years, Mark S. Potteiger. In Addition, she is also survived by her siblings, Barry E. Reber, Ronald P. Reber, Barbara L. Schoonover, Randolph K. Reber, husband of Linda, Bradley W. Reber, husband of Irene and Jennifer R. Maulick, wife of Jeffrey, along with many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time with the countless friends she made throughout her life’s journey. Other interests she had over the years included Camp Fire Girls, Keystone Canoe Club, being a den mother for cub scouts, camping, hiking, skiing, spelunking, going to the races and attending dozens and dozens of concerts.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, Pennsylvania with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 pm.
