Carolyn M. (Krause) Hettinger

Mohrsville

Carolyn M. (Krause) Hettinger, 84, of Mohrsville, Perry Twp., passed away Monday, January 28th in Penn State St. Joseph Hospital.

Carolyn was married to the late Norman L. Hettinger.

Born in Bern Twp., she was the daughter of the late Ray Krause and Annie (Unger) Krause.

She was formerly a member of Trinity UCC in Leesport.

She enjoyed collecting antique jewelry.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis L. Hettinger of Mohrsville and Larry M. Hettinger and wife Fay of Leesport.

Also, two grandsons, Ryan Hettinger and Joshua Hettinger and wife Amber Hettinger.

There is a sister, Doris Schlappich, widow of Herbert Schlappich of Leesport.

She is predeceased by two siblings, Jean Burkey and Walter Krause.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1st at 10:30 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Rev. Janet Kline officiating.

A viewing will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will be private in Leesport Cemetery.
