Charles T. "Chick" Pierson

October 14, 1931 — September 29, 2018

Charles T. "Chick" Pierson, 86, of Bernville, passed away Saturday, September 29th in Kadlec Medical Center in Richland WA.

He was married for fifty five years to the late Glenda Gail (Gibson) Pierson.

Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Maurice Leslie Pierson and Mae Winifred (Keidel) Pierson.

He graduated from Collingswood High School in Oaklyn NJ.

He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam War. He then served in the Air National Guard.

He was a former Airline Mechanic at Reading Aviation/US Air.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Muhlenberg Twp. where he served on Facility Maintenance.

Surviving are four children, J. Taylor Pierson, husband of Susan Pierson, Keith M. Pierson, husband of Laura Pierson, Christopher T. Pierson, husband of Nanette Pierson, and Colain White, wife of Ben White.

There are fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He is survived by a brother, Maurice Leslie Pierson and wife Betty Pierson.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 7 pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3344 Reading Crest Blvd, Reading, PA 19605.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 pm until 7 pm in the church for a visitation with family members.

Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
