Charles John Sonday

Charles John Sonday, 71, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Saturday in Berks Heim.

Charles was married to his loving wife Eileen F. (Garr) Sonday.

Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Wayne S. and Marion (Henne) Sonday.

He was employed as a Diesel Mechanic, a Manager, and in Customer Service for Penn Detroit Diesel for over thirty five years.

He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and a member of the Shartlesville Fish and Game Club.

He loved 4X4ing in his Jeep and riding his motorcycle.

Additional survivors include two sons, Charles Joseph Sonday and wife Christine (Skimski) Sonday of Allentown and John Wayne Sonday and wife Jill (Creswell) Sonday of Bernville.

There is a Grandson, Cole Sonday and a step Grandson, Zach Kish.

Charles is also survived by his siblings, Wayne Sonday of NC, Jack Sonday of Bernville, Jill Zerbe and husband Paul Zerbe of Bernville, and Ruth Dubble and husband Bruce Dubble of Bernville.

There are many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Monday, July 10th from 4:30 PM until 5:30 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 PM in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, PA.
