Charles D. Zimmerman

Charles D. Zimmerman 66 of Tulpehocken Township died at 6:56 A.M. on Interstate 88, Otsego County, New York. He was the loving husband of Anita D. (Daub) Zimmerman.

Charles was born in Lebanon, PA. Son of the late George C. and Minnie R. (Hoffa) Zimmerman.

Surviving in addition to his wife are the following children. Darlene A. wife of Paul Kanner of Harrisburg, Cara D. wife of Zied Omrane of Gastonia, North Carolina, Charles D. husband of Jennifer Zimmerman, Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, and Daryl D. husband of Jennie Kramer of Lebanon.

Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Charles was predeceased by the following siblings; George Zimmerman, Jr., Harry Zimmerman, Janice Baker, Jean Zimmerman, and Jo Ann Strickler.

Mr. Zimmerman was a member of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. He was, also, a member of Reading 429 Teamsters Union.

Charles was a truck driver all his life. At the time of his death he was driving for Henry Martin/Little Dutchman Trucking Company of Frystown. Prior employment was with Center Line/GAF Trucking Company of Myerstown, Windsor Service of Reading, W.C. Mc Quaide Trucking Company of Johnstown/Bethel, and G.O.D. Trucking Company of New Jersey

Services will be held from Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Route 343 and Shirksville Road, Fredericksburg on Saturday, February 17th at 11:00 A.M.

Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00A.M. until time of service
