Curtis C. Neuin

Curtis C. Neuin, Sr., 93, formerly of Robesonia, passed away Saturday evening in Mifflin Court in Shillington.

Curtis was married March 1, 1958, to the late Blanche L. (Ney) Neuin for forty-eight years until her death November 21, 2006.

He was the son of the late George C. and Cora A. (Hollenbach) Neuin.

He is survived by three sons, Curtis C. Jr. and wife Kay of Womelsdorf, James W. of Robesonia, and Terry L. and wife Ruth of Laureldale; also two daughters, Judy L. (Neuin) Fidler and husband Scott of Frystown and Kimberly A. (Neuin) Holzman and husband Dennis of Bethel.

 He has five grandchildren, Tamara J. Neuin, Jeremy S. Fidler, Amanda M. Eisenhour, and Christopher C. and Daniel J. Neuin.

There are four great great grandchildren, Hailie and Kilee Weik and Ethan and Callahan Neuin.

He was predeceased by a grandson, William Fidler.

Curtis is survived by a brother, Ray Neuin.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Samuel, George, Harold, Clarence, Dorothy, and Verna Neuin, Lester Bauscher, and Annie Weidman.

Curtis was employed for thirty-five years for Glen Gery Brick in Wyomissing retiring in 1993.

He was born and raised on a farm and enjoyed farming his entire life. He helped on the farm for Glyn Hook Farm in Charming Forge.

He was a jack of all trades especially repairing small engines for friends.

He really enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He was a former volunteer firefighter and trustee for the Pioneer Hose Company,

32 West Penn Ave., Robesonia, PA 19551 where memorial contributions may be made in his memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main., St., Bernville on Friday, September 15th at Noon.

A viewing will be held on Friday from 11 AM until Noon in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens in Maidencreek Twp.
