Edward P. Mengel, 92, of Pottstown passed away Tuesday, October 7 at home.
He was born June 30, 1922 in Reading, PA., the son of Morris and Annie Mengel (Spayd).
He served in World War II as part of the Army's 82nd Airborne. He was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marian M. Mengel, a sister and 3 brothers. Mr. Mengel is survived by a sister, Theda Longacre, a daughter, Bonnie L. Cameron, a son, Thomas J. Mengel, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 14, at 1:30 p.m. in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.
Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
