Elaine W. Goho, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on July 8, 1934, Elaine dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at various facilities including the Laurel Center and Berks Heim. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to her profession touched the lives of many throughout her remarkable career.
Elaine was a proud graduate of Wildwood High School, class of 1957. She cherished the friendships and memories formed during her formative years, and these connections remained significant to her throughout her life.
Beyond her professional life, Elaine found joy in a variety of hobbies and interests. She was an avid crafter whose creativity and passion were evident in her handmade creations. Elaine had a love for the great outdoors, especially relishing camping trips at Knobel's, which offered her moments of serenity and adventure. Traveling held a special place in her heart, particularly her visits with family in New Hampshire, frequent trips to Virginia, and her cherished trip to Jerusalem, where she deepened her appreciation for culture and spirituality.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard L. Goho; Loving children: Elaine Cullins, wife of Mark; Kim Rainbolt; Sharon Drexel, wife of the late Allen Drexel; Pam Newhook, wife of Wayne; Wendy Grube, wife of Joe; Rick Goho, husband of Cindy; Dirk Goho, husband of Denise; Tim Goho; Yvonne Smith, wife of Dan; and Audrey Gring. The legacy of her love continues through her numerous grandchildren, Josh, Heather, Nicole, Carrie, Sabrina, Alyssa, Emmy, Skyler, Alicia, Naomi, Vanessa, Victoria, Josh, Naunnee, Shannon, Ariel, Chris, Jenny, Louann, Amy, Justin, Renee, Shana, Amanda, Heather, 48 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her spirit.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles C. and Sara J. (Francis) Widmer, her brothers, Willard Widmer, Ellsworth Widmer, and Wayne Widmer, and her grandson Jason, who will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, located at 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA, 19560. A viewing will be held on June 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
