Elizabeth Anne Himmelberger

Elizabeth Anne "Bette" (Bender) Himmelberger 77 of Bernville died Saturday afternoon in her residence. She was the widow of Ronald Myles Himmelberger who died March 1, 1985.
Bette was born in Allentown on May 27, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Ann (Spengler) Bender.
Surviving are two daughters; Debra M. wife of Jerry L. Hosler of South Heidelberg Township and Melissa A. wife of Richard D. Messner of Bernville.
Three grandchildren; Joseph Hosler, Alison Hosler, and Alyssa Messner
Two brothers; Ralph Bender of Stroudsburg, and William Bender of Blane, WA.
Mrs. Himmelberger was a member of St. Thomas Church, Bernville
Bette graduated in 1956 from Stroudsburg High School, and in 1959 she graduated from Becker Junior College in Worchester, Mass.
She retired in 1998 with twenty-five years' service last working as sales coordinator of Lift, Inc. in Leesport.
Funeral services from Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend William Miller officiating. Interment in Strausstown Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
