Esther May (Huey) Keller

Esther M. Keller 88, of Temple, passed away in ManorCare, Laureldale on Monday, March 6, 2017. Born in Muhlenberg Township on April 30th 1928, she was a daughter to the late Samuel M. and Sarah C. (Kaucher) Huey. Esther was the wife of the late Earl B. Keller, who passed on March 26, 1971. She was also the long- time companion of Merigo Morganti who passed on December 12, 1999.
Esther was a sewing machine operator for 30 years at Temple Apparel, after closing she went to work for Hantex Mills Temple, PA. Esther enjoyed sewing as a hobby, and crocheting for many years after retirement. She also loved helping others. She was a "Florence Nightingale" to her family and friends.
Survivors include her Daughter, Rose M. Kline & husband Richard of Alsace Township PA, Two Step Sons, Nick J. Morganti & wife Roxanne of Carlsbad CA, and David J. Morganti & wife Lisa of Exeter PA, Step Daughter, Nancy R. (Morganti) Haines & husband Kenneth of Laureldale, PA. She also survived by her Brothers, Leonard Huey & wife June, Robert Huey & wife Linda of Temple, PA; Aunt Gloria (Keller) Thomas; Grandson Rich Kline & wife Tiffany of Temple, PA; Great Grandchildren: Joey & Ryeder Kline; Step Grandchildren; Kyle, Derek, Sarah, Christina, Laura, Kevin, Eileen, Lindsey, Devin, Maddisyn, Keegan, Elias & Isiah
Esther was predeceased by her Son Robert E. Keller, Daughter Margaret A. Keller, Step Daughter Katheryn A. (Morganti) Grim, Grandson Mark D. Kline, Sister Ruth (Huey) Harner, and Brothers Lawrence Huey and Leon Huey.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
