Ethel I Kramer

Ethel I. Kramer, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, at the Reading Hospital, at the age of 99. Born on June 2, 1925, in Stony Creek Mills, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mable (Yeager) Ehring.

Ethel was preceded in death by her cherished husband, George W.C. Kramer, who passed away in 1994. 

She is survived by four loving daughters: Loretta I., wife of Donald Steffy; Ethel P., wife of Robert Czarnecki; Kim G. Kramer; and Christine E., wife of Troy Polly. Ethel's legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, who will remember her fondly and the countless memories they shared. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Weitzel. 

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple. 

The burial will take place in Laureldale Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ethel’s name may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 1375 Friedensburg Road, Reading, PA 19606.
