Faye M. Schlegel

Faye M. Schlegel, 87, formerly of Temple, passed away Tuesday June 18th in Berks Heim where she had been a resident for 4 ½ years.

She was the widow of the late Paul L. Schlegel who passed away February 23, 1988.

Born in Muhlenberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. Goodman and Lena M. (Dailey) Goodman.
She was employed in the cafeteria for the Muhlenberg School District for many years.
She attended Muhlenberg High School and was a former member of Christ United Church of Christ in Temple.
She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed camping with family and friends.

Surviving is one son, Ray L. Schlegel, husband of Sandra of Muhlenberg Twp. and one daughter, Linda P. Schlegel of Reading.
There are two grandchildren, Alyssa Arquelles, wife of Justin and Ryan Schlegel and fiancé Jennifer Gillman. Also, two great grandchildren, Antony and Lillian Arquelles.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 24th at 10:30 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Rev. Dr. Harry Serio officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday morning from 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home.
