Floyd V. Ulrich

Floyd V. Ulrich, 88, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday, June 10th in his residence.

Floyd was married to the late Mildred H. (Weaver) Ulrich who passed away June 17, 2015. Floyd and Mildred were married July 14, 1951 and celebrated sixty three years of marriage.

Born in Lower Alsace Twp., he was the son of the late Daniel Ulrich and Stella (Lerch) Ulrich.

Floyd was employed for thirty three years and one month at the former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Pottstown retiring in 1980. He then was employed for ten years at Sunsweet Juices in Fleetwood.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Fleetwood where he was formerly a consistory member.

He was a member of the Fleetwood Lions Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and flying model airplanes. He was one of four founding members of the Hartman Hunting Camp in Potter Co. and a member of the 222 Flying Club.

He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and friends.

Floyd was a cancer survivor for twenty two years.

Floyd loved his family very much and was the ultimate family man.

Surviving are two children, Randolph S. Ulrich and wife Doris of Akron, PA and Brenda J. James and partner Joseph D'Andrea of Fleetwood.

He is predeceased by his children, Craig F. Ulrich who passed away December 15, 2013 and survived by Craig's wife Ruth of Fleetwood and Sylvia D. Ulrich who passed away April 17, 2016.

There are six grandchildren, Jennifer Goggins, David, Brian, and Steven Ulrich and Krista and Cory James.

There is one deceased granddaughter, Michelle Ulrich.

Also, there are five great grandchildren, Joseph Goggins, Saige, Aurora, and Evelyn Ulrich, and Zell Moua.

He is predeceased by two brothers, William and Daniel Ulrich.

Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family to celebrate Floyd's life on Thursday, June 15th from 6 until 8 pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC, 5 West Arch St., Fleetwood, PA 19522.
