Frances Kubbishun

Frances Kubbishun, 72, of Penn Twp., wife of Carmen N Chiumento, passed away Monday, December 11^th .

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, she is the daughter of the late Stanley and Lottie (nee Polak) Kubbishun.

She was employed by EnerSys Corp. as Credit and Collections Manager, retiring in 2018.

Fran loved crocheting and enjoyed making afghans and baby blankets and giving them to people she liked. She was also an avid gardener using her skills around her home.

Surviving along with her husband Carmen are three siblings, Nancy Soboleski, widow of John Soboleski of Ashley, PA, Stanley Kubbishun, and his wife Leeann Kubbishun of Easton PA, an older sister Rosemary Manfre, a sister in law, Susan Mulligan and her husband John Mulligan of Chalfont, PA. and nieces and nephews.

Fran will surely be missed by both her Kubbishun and Chiumento families.

A memorial service visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, PA.

 A memorial for family and friends in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area is being planned for a future date.
