Frank J. Schwab, 93, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Monday, April 7th in his home.
He was the widower of Ruth (Adam) Schwab, who passed away June 15, 2010.
Born in Evansville, PA, he was the son of the late Isaac and Theresa (Sayer) Schwab.
Frank was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the former Allentown Portland Cement Company for 31 years, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Schwab of Middletown, DE and Frank Schwab, Jr. of Reading.
He was predeceased by children, Joanne (Schwab) Boyer and Eric Schwab.
There are four grandchildren: Michell R. A. Good; Jason Boyer; Shawn Schwab; and Timothy Schwab; and three great-grandchildren: Laura, Fuller, and Atley Schwab.
Also surviving is a sister, Agnes, widow of Wilson Stamm, of Reading.
He was predeceased by eight siblings.
A prayer service will be held Friday, April 11th at 10 AM at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA with Rev. Msgr. Walter T. Scheaffer officiating.
Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Hyde Park.
There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM and Friday morning from 9 until 10 AM at the funeral home.
