Gary G. Kline, a dedicated craftsman and lifelong carpenter, passed away peacefully at his home on March 30, 2026. Born on August 7, 1951, in Bernville, Gary was a proud 1969 graduate of Tulpehocken High School. Throughout his life, he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his trade, working as a carpenter for the majority of his career, a profession through which he expressed both skill and passion.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gary was a man of varied interests and deep community engagement. He was an avid woodworker, a passion that reflected both his artistry and meticulous attention to detail. He cherished animals and spent countless hours immersed in nature, embodying a profound appreciation for the outdoors. As a member of the Northkill Rod & Gun Club and the Lehigh Valley Amateur Astronomical Society (LVAAS), Gary cultivated friendships and pursued hobbies that enriched his life. Additionally, he was a lifetime member of the Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Association. Music and gardening brought him great joy, particularly when sharing those moments with his beloved granddaughter, Savannah.
Gary's family was central to his life. He is survived by his daughter, Joanna V. Pennington. His grandchildren, Keller A. Jackson and Savannah Pennington, were cherished members of his family circle. He also leaves behind siblings Kathy Curtis, Martin Kline, Sandra Heckman, Phillip Kline, Irene Heckman, Cheryl Kline, and Michael Benjamin. Nephews Todd Curtis, Glenn Curtis, David Kline, William Kline, Gary Benjamin, David Benjamin, Michael Benjamin, Matthew Heckman, Andrew Heckman, Cary Kline, Phillip Santoro, Patrick Santoro; and nieces, Jennifer Kline, Rachel Kline, Pennie Debbie, who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd W. and Vivian V. (Wanner) Kline, siblings John Benjamin, husband of Edith, and David Kline, as well as his beloved grandnephews, Jared and Dustin Kline.
Funeral arrangements will be held privately at the conivence of the family.
Gary G. Kline's legacy is one of craftsmanship, passion for life, and devotion to his family and community. His contributions as a carpenter and his multifaceted interests left an enduring impact on all who knew him. His memory will continue to be honored and cherished by those who loved him.
