George H. Throne

George H. Throne 95 formerly of Bethel died Sunday at 8:10 A.M. in the Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Center, Rapho Township, Lancaster County. He was the husband of Renee E. (Snyder) Wampler Throne.

Mr. Throne was born in Alvordton, Ohio. He was the son of the late Harvey "Harve" and Bernice (Clay) Throne.

Surviving in addition to his wife are the following children; Danny N. Throne of Montpelier, Ohio; Stuart W. Throne of Montpelier, Ohio; Kathy Cross of West Unity, Ohio; Martha Heer of West Unity, Ohio. A daughter, Margaret Snyder, died February 2017

Also, surviving are the following step children; Lance L. Wampler of Irvine, Calif.; Joel L. Wampler of Newmanstown, PA; Kim C. Aungst of Pine Grove, PA and Dawn Beck of Bethel, PA

Fourteen Grandchildren, Thirty-two Great Grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren

Mr. Throne was employed as a welder and quality control inspector by Challenge Cook Brothers of Bryan, Ohio. He was, also, a farmer in Millcreek, Ohio.

Family will receive friends at the Conservative Baptist Brethren Church, Frystown on Thursday evening 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
