Grace L. (Hartman) Wagner

January 11, 1935 — July 6, 2014

Grace L. Wagner, 79, of Williamsport, PA and formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away early Sunday morning, July 6th, at St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was the widow of the late Mahlon R. Wagner, who passed away February 21, 2011. They had celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Almita Hartman.

Grace had been employed by Diener Knitting Mill in Leesport for 32 years.

She was a former member of St. Thomas church in Bernville.

During her retirement, Grace enjoyed living in the mountains and being a part of her community in Plunketts Creek Twp. She liked to spend time outdoors where she could watch the wildlife.

Survivors include her children: Rodney N. Wagner of Morrisville, Bucks County and Sherry L. Wagner of Hamburg.

Grace had ten siblings. Surviving is a brother, John Hartman of Robesonia.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 10th at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery, Washington St., Bernville, PA with Rev. William Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Grace's memory may be made to Plunketts Creek Twp., Volunteer Fire Dept., 327 Dunwoody Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville.
