Harold R. Haas

Harold R. Haas, 81, of Robesonia, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, in his residence.

Born on July, 5, 1941, he was a son to the late Howard and Mabel (Egan) Haas. Harold was the husband of the late Arlene Haas with whom he shared 51 years of marriage at her time of passing on May 15, 2017.

Harold was a 1961 graduate of Hamburg High School and was employed by CarTech for 31 years until his retirement.  Harold was a proud United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. In his free time, Harold enjoyed traveling with his wife, wood working, playing cards with his friends, watching western movies and had a passion for all kinds of food.

Harold is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Arlene, Harold is predeceased by his brother, Larry Haas.

A Viewing will be held Wednesday, August, 17, 2022 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am with a memorial service beginning at 10:45 am at the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main Street, Bernville.

Burial will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Harold’s name may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042.
