Harold D. Reinhart

Harold D. Reinhart, 81, of Jefferson Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family, on Thursday evening, January 4th in his residence.
He was married to Anna C. (Schrack) Reinhart. Harold and Anna would be married for sixty loving years on April 12th.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Theodore and Clara (Stump) Reinhart.
He graduated from Perry High School where he excelled in sports playing basketball, soccer, and baseball.
He was a truck driver, a member of the Teamsters Union, driving for various trucking companies including Burgmyer Trucking and Allied Signal/Eltra Trucking. During the time he drove a truck he was a part time farmer on the family farm and continued to work on the farm with his son Allen's Christmas Tree Farm.
He is a member of St. Paul's Church at New Schaefferstown.
He formerly was a member of St. Michael's Union Church where Harold and Anna were married and where he served on the U. C. C. Consistory, was a elder, and a Sunday School Superintendent for many years and where Harold will ultimately be buried.
Additional survivors include three children, Allen D. Reinhart and wife Lisa (McCarthy) Reinhart of Jefferson Twp., Cheryl A. Henne-Fryer and husband Richard Fryer of New Ringold, Schuylkill Co., and Susan K. Frey, and husband William F. Frey of Newmanstown, Lebanon Co.
Harold loved his family, and truly loved to spend time with all his beloved grandchildren, which include Wesley Henne, Valerie Henne-Hallman, Nicole Henne-Brown, David A. Frey, Michelle Reinhart, Jennifer Lapp, Mitchell Reinhart, and Ashley M. Fryer. Also, his beloved great grandchildren, Logan and Keira Henne and Avalynn and Coralee Brown.
Harold is survived by his brothers, Richard, Russell, and Craig Reinhart and predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Kenneth Reinhart. There is a deceased great grandson, Issac D. Krammes.
A Viewing will be held on Friday evening January 12 th from 6 until 8 PM in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206, N. Main St., Bernville.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13 th at 11 AM in St. Paul's Church at New Schaefferstown, 145 Tulpehocken St., Bernville PA with Rev. Dr. George C. Sackett III officiating.
A fellowship meal will follow the funeral service on Saturday at the family's tree farm at 340 Oak Lane, Bernville, Jefferson Twp.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church at New Schaefferstown at the above address.
