Harry J. Kopicz

Harry J. Kopicz 91 formerly of Fleetwood died at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Wednesday. He was transferred to Lehigh Valley Hospital from Kutztown Manor here he had resided for the past three years. His wife, Elsie G. (Moyer) Kopicz, died July 21, 2005.

Harry was born in Evansville, Berks County. He was the son of the late Harry J. and Walencina (Viola) Kopicz.

Surviving is his children; Andrea M. Calibeo of Little River, SC; Annette E. Kopicz of Lehigh County; Michele D. Kopicz of Fleetwood; Robert J. Kopicz of Fleetwood, Charles F. Kopicz of Fleetwood, Edward M. Kopicz of Myrtle Beach, Michael J. Kopicz of Fleetwood, and Anthony M. Kopicz of Exeter Township. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald J. Kopicz, who died January 2017. There are twenty-eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Mr. Kopicz was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

Harry served his country during the second world war in the United States Marine Corps.

He retired after fifty years of employment as a foreman/supervisor from Allentown Portland Cement Company.

Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. from Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday 8:00 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA
