James J. Latshaw

James J. Latshaw, 72, of Bernville, passed away Wednesday, July 5th in his residence.
He was married for forty six years to Shirley M. (Yoh) Latshaw.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Bud M. Latshaw and Florence (Sigmund) Latshaw.
He graduated in 1963 from Conrad Weiser High School.
He served in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Sergeant.
He was employed for thirty eight years for Glidden Paint in Reading retiring in 2006.
For many years James was a member of the Bernville Fire Company Fire Police.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Northkill Rod and Gun Club.
He loved his dog "Pepper".
Additional survivors include a son, James J. Latshaw, Jr. and wife Sheila of Bernville and two grandchildren, Skyler and Logan Latshaw.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12th at 10:30 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St. Bernville.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 am until time of service in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family would prefer that no flowers be delivered, instead memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605.
