Joseph George Franklin Meitzler
March 18, 1934 — November 25, 2017
Joseph George Franklin Meitzler, 83, of Myerstown and formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, November 25th in WellSpan Health, Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.
He was married to Beatrice E. (Rentschler) Meitzler.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, he was the son of the late George and Martha (Burns) Meitzler.
For forty one years he was employed by Argo Mills in Schuylkill Haven. He then was employed by Meck's Mills also of Schuylkill Haven.
He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.
Additional survivors include two sons, Kevin A. Meitzler and wife Starlyn of Lake Wynonah and George R. Meitzler and wife Sue of Myerstown.
There are four grandchildren, Ty, Emma, Abby, and Michael Meitzler.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 1st at 11 am at St. Michael's Church Cemetery, 529 St. Michaels Rd., Hamburg, PA 19526.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
