Judy Diane Griffith 62 of Collierville, TN, formerly of Berks County, died Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Germantown Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN.

Born in Brecknock Township on April 30, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Derr) Griffith.

Judy was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Collierville. She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in the Class of 1969 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1973 from the Pennsylvania State University.

Judy was a stay at home mother and then worked as a church and preschool secretary. She was wonderful with children, always patient and full of laughter. She spent the past two years helping to raise her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Nicole Lewandowski of Memphis, TN and Michael Shewchuk of Eielson AFB, AK. Also, surviving is a son-in-law, Matthew Lewandowski.
Two loving grandchildren, Isaac and Luke Lewandowski.
Three sisters, Betty Shirk of Brecknock Township; Verna Wurst of Tulpehocken Township; and Evelyn Griffith of Clearwater, FL.
Two brothers, Dennis Griffith of Mohnton and Harold Griffith of Oxfordshire, UK.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allegheny United Church of Christ, 1219 Kutz Mill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540. Burial will be in the Allegheny Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the church from 9:00 to time of services.
