Kathryn M. (Wehr) Bossard

Kathryn M. Bossard, 97, formerly of Jefferson Twp., and most recently of Phoebe Berks, Village Common in Wernersville, passed away Sunday, June 4th in the Reading Hospital.

Kathryn was married to the late Harold C. Bossard who passed away May 8, 2009.

Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late James R. Wehr and Margaret (Costenbader) Wehr.

She graduated from Lehighton High School in 1938.

She retired after many years of service as a postal employee in the Zieglerville Post Office.

She was a faithful member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.
Kathryn and her late husband Harold traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe.

She enjoyed making ceramics.

Surviving is one son, Jennings David Bossard and wife Mary Ann of Jefferson Twp.

There are two grandchildren, Sherry Kibler and husband Jeffrey of Blandon and James David Bossard and wife Teri of McCalla, Alabama.

Also, two great grandchildren, Zachary and Mitchell Kibler.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Samuel D., James Paul, Margaret A., John C., Allen E., Theodore, and Doris C. Wehr.

She also has four great grand dogs, Hershey, Macy, Giroux, and Nittany.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
