Kevin P. Weidenhammer, born on November 24, 1954, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his family. His journey came to a gentle end.
Kevin’s devotion to family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jerry L. Weidenhammer, who stood by his side. He had three cherished daughters: Kristine M. Dietrich (Jesse), Katie L. Driscoll (Robert), and Karla L. Bartal (Nicholas). The legacy of Kevin’s kindness and humor lives on in his grandchildren: Jesse, Korrin, Charles, Henry, George, Harrison, and John, each of whom brought immeasurable pride and happiness to his days.
Kevin is also survived by Chester (Sonny) Weidenhammer and Frank Weidenhammer, as well as his sister Margie Snyder.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Chester B. Weidenhammer, and his mother, Ethel E. (Hoffman) Weidenhammer, whose memory he honored. He also joins his sisters Janet Nicklas, Betty Lou Rahn, Sharon Weidenhammer and Smokey Weidenhammer in rest. His passing is mourned alongside the memories of Max, a beloved family dog.
For twelve years, Kevin worked as a truck driver for Lentz Milling. In time, he continued his driving career with Forino Developers, where he dedicated three decades—thirty-two years of reliable service—before retiring in 2016. Through these years, Kevin became a familiar and respected presence among colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work, Kevin found simple pleasures to be among life’s greatest treasures. He could often be found at car shows, admiring classic craftsmanship. Family was always at the heart of his life, whether gathering for celebrations or lending support in quieter times. At home, Kevin enjoyed day time television—especially crime shows—which allowed him to relax and indulge his curiosity about the world.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at a viewing on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., held at the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, located at 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA.
