Laura E. (Wolicki) Wisler Luckenbill 104 formerly of South Temple died Tuesday morning in the County Meadows of Wyomissing where she had resided for thirteen years. She was the widow of George S. Wisler and H. Lee Luckenbill.
Born in Reading on a farm where she enjoyed milking cows, she was the daughter of the late Leon A. and Harriet M. (Hohl) Wolicki.
Laura's brother Marcel L. is deceased but his widow, Margie M. Wolicki resides in Kenhorst.
Also, two sisters and their husbands are deceased. Leona H. wife of Adam Shay; and Irene S. wife of Irvin Rhoads.
Surviving are three nieces and two nephews. Barbara Anne wife of George E. Moyer of Reading; Jane L. Shay of Reading, Gloria C. widow of David Graul of Exeter Township; Marc H. Wolicki a guest at Berks Heim, and George W. Stettenbauer is deceased but his widow Barbara resides in Exeter Township.
Two great nephews and one great niece; Mitchell G. husband of Dawn M. Moyer of Colorado Springs, CO; Stephen M. husband of Lori Kerschner of Reading; and Kathy wife of Nick Pettinato of Reading. There are several great-great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Luckenbill was a member of Olivet Reform Church, Reading. She enjoyed gardening, china painting, doll collecting, and knitting. She attended a one room school located in Bern Township named the Minehole Schoolhouse.
Laura for many years was employed as a floor lady by the former Nolte & Horst Knitting Mills of Reading.
Funeral services for Mrs. Luckenbill will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple with Reverend Janet Boyd officiating.
Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
Friends may call on Saturday 9:30 A.M. until service time.
