Lee C. Acker

Lee C. Acker, 79, of Telford,  formerly of Bernville, passed away Sunday morning,  October 21, 2018 in St. Mary Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Lansdale.

Lee was married to the late Martha P. (Kalbach) Acker who passed away September 25, 2007.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Marcus and Edna (Kunkel) Acker.

Lee was a welder employed by several fabricating companies.

In earlier years Lee was a farmer on his family farm in the Bernville area.

Lee attended Indian Creek Church of The Brethren in Harleysville.

Surviving are Lee’s children, Carl Acker of Souderton, Albert Acker of Lederach, Donna Clemens, wife of Michael Clemens of West Virginia, and Teresa Colyer, wife of Jeff Colyer of Telford.

There are eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Lee is survived by a sister, Beatrice Golding of Sinking Spring.

Lee is predeceased by a son, Timothy Acker and several siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Monday October 29th at 11:30 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, PA. with Reverend Dr. Daniel Lute officiating.

A viewing will be held on Monday morning in the funeral home from 10:30 am until the time of the service.

Interment will follow the service in Haags Cemetery in Bernville.
