Leon S. Huey, 76, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Thursday May 16th in his home.
Leon was married to Jean (Henry) Wagner-Huey for 16 years. Born in Muhlenberg Twp., he was the son of the late Samuel Huey and Sarah (Kaucher) Huey.
Leon was employed with Berks Packing before his retirement in 2006. He was a member of Riverview Christian Learning Church. He was also a member of Temple Fire Co., Goodwill, Whispering Pines Hunting Club, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
Surviving along with his wife are two step-sons, John Martin Wagner and wife Susan of Laureldale and Jeffrey L. Wagner of Muhlenberg Twp.
There are 4 step-grandchildren, Angelina Liebenguth, Jonathan Wagner, Christopher Wagner, and Megan Wagner and 5 step-great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Ruth Horner and Esther Keller and brothers Robert Huey and Leonard Huey as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Temple.
