Leonard C Petroski

Leonard C. Petroski, 77, passed away on September 19, 2026, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Born on May 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Leonard W. Petroski and Jean Betty (Warholic) Petroski.

Leonard graduated from Reading Central Catholic School before earning his bachelor's degree from La Salle University. He had a deep appreciation for all kinds of music and enjoyed camping and astronomy. He was also an avid collector of coins and stamps. Above all, Leonard loved his family and treasured the time he shared with them. Although Leonard was not an active member of the Catholic Church, he was raised in a family whose faith and involvement in the church were important parts of their lives.

Leonard is survived by his three children: David Petroski, husband of Tammy, of Las Vegas; Jennifer L. Brindisi, wife of Donald, of Harrisburg; and Kathleen Taylor, wife of Ian, of Shelby, North Carolina.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Madison, Lauren, Summer, Carson, Dominic, Philip, and Marianna.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his grandchild, Jared Willman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Leonard will be remembered for his many interests and the love he held for his family.
