Leroy "Roy" Medaglia

Leroy R. "Roy" Medaglia 89 of Temple died Monday at 11:30 A.M. in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
He was the husband of Eleanor (Camilli) Medaglia. They had been married sixty years.
Leroy was born in Reading on October 27, 1923. He was the son of the late Lorenzo and Virginia (Damato) Medaglia.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter; Nancy Bossler, of Temple; and a son, James Medaglia, of North Carolina.
Leroy had two grandchildren and four great grandchildren
He is, also, survived by a sister, Angelina Endy, of Temple; and a brother, Joseph Medaglia, of Spring Township.
Leroy was a member of Holy Guardian Angel's Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
He served his county in the United States Army during World War II.
During Leroy's lifetime he was employed in the Mushroom industry. He, also, had been employed as a truck driver and in the home improvement industry.
A Memorial Mass will be held from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment in Gethsemane Cemetery.
