Linda A Bell

March 22, 1952 — December 16, 2025

Linda Ann Bell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 16, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on March 22, 1952, Linda brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda was born and raised in Temple, the daughter of Italian immigrants Frank and Rose (Camilli) Cittadini and grew up in the Holy Guardian Angels community. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and earned a degree in Education from Westchester University. Linda exemplified working with passion, care and commitment; for 35 years, she nurtured the minds and hearts of young students as a Reading Specialist and Elementary School Teacher in the Reading and Twin Valley School Districts. Teaching also brought Linda and her husband, Mike, together while they were both working at Northeast Junior High. Doctors told Linda she would never be able to have children; however, through her marriage to Mike, she became a devoted stepmother to three and then, against all odds, she gave birth to a baby girl, followed a few years later by a baby boy. Linda and Mike shared a happy and fulfilling marriage of 39 years and built a warm, welcoming home.

Linda put her whole heart into every endeavor. Her relentless energy and drive led her back to school, earning two masters equivalents, while working full time and raising her family. After retiring, Linda turned her love of food and cooking into a new chapter, founding ‘The Culinary Classroom’, a cooking school, as well as a travel business, ‘Andiamo Linda’. Alongside her devoted husband, Mike, she taught and inspired countless people through hands-on cooking classes and uniquely curated group trips to Italy.

Linda’s energy was boundless, “andiamo!” or “let’s go!” in Italian, was a common refrain of hers. She was always ready for the day, dressed in her characteristic great style. Whether traveling to Europe, visiting her grandchildren, or hosting dinners at her beautiful home, she cultivated an active social life with her many friends and family. She loved her walks, 5 miles a day was not uncommon, and perfecting recipes for her classes. Most of all, Linda loved being a mother and grandmother and prioritized creating beautiful memories for her family. Her life was a rich tapestry of joy, laughter, food, and family and she anchored her family in that love.

Linda enjoyed life and relentlessly pursued what she wanted. Her loved ones find some solace knowing she lived every day to the fullest. Her legacy continues in her children: Emily Bell, wife of Carlo Cricco; Benjamin Bell, husband of Emily; Dustin Bell; Dree Meckley, wife of Pete and Tressa Lance, wife of Eric. She took immense pride in her grandchildren, Carlo, Michael, and Julia Cricco; Liliana and Violet Bell; Dylan Stitzman, and Kaleena and Siena Lance, whose lives were profoundly enriched by her love and presence.
