Linda S. Huey, born on January 25, 1949, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, at Sinking Spring Nursing and Rehab. She was a dedicated and compassionate individual, leaving behind a legacy of care and service to others.

Linda's professional journey began as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Community General Hospital, where she devoted over 18 years of her life to the healthcare of countless patients. Following her time at the hospital, she transitioned to Home Health Care, continuing her commitment to helping those in need for another 18 years until her retirement in 2014. Throughout her career, Linda embodied the essence of compassion, providing comfort and support to those in her care.

A proud member of the Muhlenberg High School Class of 1966, Linda's devotion to her community was evident in many aspects of her life. She was an active participant at Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to the spiritual well-being of her congregation. Her dedication extended to her role as Den Leader of Troop 171 and as a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Community General Hospital, further highlighting her commitment to nurturing the growth and development of young people in her community.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Robert H. Huey; her sons, David A. Huey, husband of Marie, of Fleetwood; Dale A. Huey, husband of Heather, of West Lawn; and Dean A. Huey, husband of Tracy, of Muhlenberg; as well as her cherished grandchildren, David Jr., Matthew, Brandon, Katelyn, and Cheyanne. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Flowers, and her brother, Rick Walters.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Ruth C. (Lerch) Walters, and her brother, Steven Walters.

Viewing services will be held on December 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, located at 400 N Temple Blvd, Temple, PA 19560.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, 400 N. Temple Blvd., Temple, PA 19560, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110, Attn. Lancaster County.

Linda's spirit and the love she shared will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
