Luanne M Aichholz

Luanne M. Aichholz, born on June 6, 1954, in Wellsboro, PA, passed away peacefully in her residence on February 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A proud graduate of Wellsboro High School, class of 1973, Luanne’s life was marked by her dedication to both her family and her passions.

Luanne cherished her time spent gardening. Her love for her pet parakeets brought her joy and companionship, perfectly reflecting her vibrant personality. Luanne was also a member of the Northkill Rod and Gun Club, where she enjoyed spending time with friends.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Aichholz III; her children, Julie A. Case and Christopher R. Aichholz; and her mother, Marie A. (Mast) Wilcox. Luanne was a loving grandmother to Kiersten Miller, Kelsey Miller, and Jason Miller, Jr. "JJ", and Christopher Jr., and a proud great-grandmother to Julian Bohn, Aella Bohn, Sylas Bohn, and Ryleigh Sauer. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie Halstead, Russell "Rusty" Wilcox, Denise Woodhouse, and Janice Wilcox. 

Luanne is preceded in death by her father, Russell J. Wilcox; her beloved daughter, Ashley Aichholz; her sister, Crystal Bowen; her nephew, Jeff Halstead; and brother-in-law, Skip Halstead.

Her warm spirit and nurturing heart will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Luanne M. Aichholz leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Luanne's name may be made to Kirkhoff Funeral Home to help the family with funeral costs.
