Lucille R. Hoffert, born on November 30, 1939, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025. She was the wife of the late Llewellyn Paul Hoffert. Lucille was known for her dedication and unwavering commitment to her family and community. She served the students of Tulpehocken Jr./Sr. High School as a valued employee in the cafeteria, providing nourishment and care to countless youngsters over the years.
A devoted member of Christ Little Tulpehocken Church, Lucille contributed to her congregation as a choir member and held the important roles of secretary and treasurer for the church cemetery association. Her passion for music and her commitment to her church community revealed the depth of her kindness and her service-oriented spirit.
Lucille is survived by her two children, Debra A. George, wife of Richard, of Indiana, and Michael L. Hoffert, husband of Pamela, of Jefferson Township. Additionally, she is remembered by her nieces, Rebecca Rhode, Donna Zinn and Jennifer Adams, one nephew Jeff Hollenbach, along with her great nieces, Madison Adams and Trinity Rhode, and her great nephew, Mason Adams; Her sister, Sara Stamm, who, along with Lucille's children, will carry forth her legacy of love and compassion.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ellen (Kirkhoff) Zerbe, and her sister, Edith Hollenbach.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, located at 206 North Main Street, Bernville, PA 19506, on December 30, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Host Church Cemetery, Bernville.
Lucille A. Hoffert leaves behind a cherished legacy, woven into the lives of those she left behind, and her memory will forever remain a guiding light for her family and community.
