Mabel A. Mengel

Mabel A. Mengel, 96, formerly of Bernville and Reading, passed away Thursday evening in Manor Care
Health Services in Spring Twp.

She was the widow of Charles S. Mengel who passed away March 23, 1986.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mabel M. (Hauck) Bosold.
Mabel and her late husband Charles operated a farm near Bernville for many years.
She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ in Reading.

Surviving is one sister, Joyce A., widow of Isaac Esterline of West Lawn.
There are two nieces, one nephew, four great nieces , and two great nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 26th at 10:30 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville. Interment will follow in North Heidelberg Church Cemetery. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home.
