Mamie L. (Binner) Lando

Mamie L. (Binner) Lando, 101, formerly of Strausstown, died Saturday morning in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township where she has been a guest since October 2005.
She was the widow of Adam J. Lando, who died in 1989.
Mrs. Lando was born in Upper Tulpehocken Township on March 6, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Levi and Mary (Wagner) Binner.
Mamie was a member of the Zion Blue Mountain United Church of Christ.
She retired in 1980 from the former Bernville Manufacturing Company where she had been employed as an assembler many years.
Surviving are her loving children; Adam C. husband of Anna Lando a guest at the Laurel Center, Dolores M. widow of Melvin Huntsinger of Valley View, Peggy A. wife of Donald Balthaser of Bernville, William R. husband of Judith Lando of Strausstown, Arlan L. husband of Sharon Lando of Stevens, Bonnie J. husband of Larry Rentschler of Bernville, and Beverly J. wife of Steven Shollenberger of Shoemakersville.
She is also survived by fifteen Grandchildren, twenty-one Great Grandchildren, and eight Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services from the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Stephen E. Ericson officiating. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral services on Wednesday.
