Marlin W. Bashore, 71, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Tuesday July 9th in Reading Hospital of natural causes.

He was married to Janet E. (Crouse) Bashore. Marlin and Janet were married for twenty years.
Born in Fredericksburg, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Jennie (Wagner) Bashore.

He was employed by the former Dana Corporation for ten years. Prior to Dana Corporation, he was employed as a truck mechanic for Sechler Poultry in Strausstown.
He was a 1959 graduate of Bethel High School and served in the Air Force.
He was involved in racing at the former Reading Fairgrounds.
He was Vice President of the Northkill Rod and Gun Club where he was very involved in trap shooting.
He loved German Shepherds owning thirteen over his life time.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and cross word puzzles.

Surviving is a sister, Mildred, widow of George Hagerty of Glenolden, PA.
He is predeceased by a nephew, Larry Hagerty.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Sunday July 14th from 6 until 8 pm in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, PA.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery in Bethel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trap Shoot Fund, Northkill Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 541, Bernville, PA 19506.
