Mildred O (Noble) Bortz

Mildred O. (Noble) Bortz, 87, of Temple, passed away on August 18, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 17, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Edith (Fioravanti) Noble. Mildred was the wife of the late Leroy R. “Bucky” Bortz whom passed away in 2000.

Mildred was an active member of Holy Guardian Angels RCC. She loved traveling, shopping, and trying new restaurants. Above all, family meant everything to Mildred and she loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Bortz and Leanne Brigle, wife of Jeffery. Also surviving are grandchildren, Michelle DiSabatino, Michael Horning, fiancé of Nicole Johnson, and Matthew Brigle; Great-grandchildren, Luciano DiSabatino, Giovanni DiSabatino, Gennaro Horning, and one great-grandchild on the way; Siblings, Elizabeth Noll, Anna Seyler, and Raymond Noble.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was predeceased by her siblings, Mae Kleffel, Susan LePore, James Noble, Anthony Noble, and Richard Kissinger.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am with a Mass starting at 10:00 am at Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.

A burial will immediately follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
