Pearl G. Zimmerman

Pearl G. Zimmerman, 75, of Bern Twp., passed away Saturday evening December 23rd in her residence with her loving family by her side.

Pearl was married to the late Leon R. Zimmerman who passed away January 4, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen B. (Gicker) Houck.

She was a member of Bern United Church of Christ in Bern Twp.

She formerly was employed by the Bernville Wire Co., Wright's Knit Wear in Leesport and Hamburg, and William's Metal Finishing in Sinking Spring,

She enjoyed camping and taking care of her house and loving family.

Surviving are three daughters, Lynn R. Zimmerman, Penny G. Zimmerman, and Leona R. Zimmerman and fiancé David A. Drexel all of Bern Twp.

There are two grandchildren, Damien Zimmerman and Chassiddy Drexel.

Also, Pearl's siblings, Irene G. Sands and husband Robbie, Mary G. Fackler and husband Scott, and Carl G. Houck and wife Donna.

Pearl is predeceased by her siblings, Ruth G. and Clair G. Houck, and June G. Lesher and husband Stanley.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29th at 10:30 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Reverend Jim Roth officiating.

A viewing will take place on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service on Friday in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Twp.
