Ralph Bruce Raifsnider

Ralph B. Raifsnider, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on November 13, 1932, in West Reading, PA, Ralph's lifetime was marked by devotion-to his country, to his work, and most of all, to his family. 

Ralph's journey began in the warm embrace of West Reading, raised by his late parents, Ralph K. Raifsnider and Mary Jane (Roger) Raifsnider. In his early years, Ralph was instilled with values of hard work, service, and love-values he would carry with him and pass on to those who had the privilege to know him.

A proud veteran, Ralph served his country honorably in the U.S. Army for four years during the Korean War. His sense of duty extended beyond his military service, becoming a lifelong member of the VFW and American Legion as well as the Temple and Riverside Fire Company. These affiliations were not just a badge; they were outward symbols of Ralph's enduring commitment to community and camaraderie.

After his military service, Ralph embarked on a distinguished career with DANA Corporation. For over 38 years, he dedicated himself to his work in management, providing steady guidance and leadership until his well-earned retirement in 1998. His colleagues respected him for his integrity, steadfastness, and the kindness he brought into every interaction. But it was at home where Ralph's generous spirit found its most cherished expression. He shared 61 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Mary, a partnership built on mutual respect, laughter, and shared dreams. The joy they found in each other was the cornerstone of their lives-a love story that inspired their family for generations.

Ralph's legacy lives on in his family, who will forever treasure his wisdom and warmth. He is survived by his loving wife Mary; his daughter Karen M. Bausch; his son Randall and daughter-in-law Alyssa; grandchildren Joshua Bausch, Ryan Bausch, Megan Raifsnider, and Hannah Raifsnider; and great-grandchildren Carter, Theo, Maisie, and Wyatt. Ralph is also survived by his brother Thomas Raifsnider and sisters Betty Jane Johnson and Sandy Zambito as well as many nieces and nephews. He now joins in peaceful rest his father, Ralph K. Raifsnider; his mother, Mary Jane (Roger)Raifsnider; and his brothers Donald and Leonard Raifsnider.

Family and friends remember Ralph as a man who deeply enjoyed sharing time with those he loved. Whether gathered for a simple meal, celebrating special occasions, or enjoying quiet moments with Mary, Ralph found joy in the presence of his family, always treasuring the ties that bound them together. His gentle smile and unwavering support were gifts that brought comfort and happiness to those around him.

The family invites relatives and friends to honor Ralph's remarkable life. A viewing will be held at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560, on August 5, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at the same location at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.Ralph B. Raifsnider's presence will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the love he shared, the example he set, and the family he so deeply cherished.
