Raymond John Klingler

Raymond J. Klingler, 82 of Bern Township, died November 30, 2013 in his residence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond F. and Margaret W. (Hofelich) Klingler.

A graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, he received his bachelor of science degree from Kutztown University and his master of education degree from West Chester University. He taught social studies at Conrad Weiser High School, Robesonia for 26 years retiring in 1986.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Ray, who resided with Richard L. Kline for 56 years is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Margaret RC Church 925 Centre Avenue Reading, PA 19601 on Wednesday at 10:00 AM with the Rev. John Gibbons celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Whitehall, Lehigh County will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret RC Church at the above address.
