Richard F. Bailey

Richard F. Bailey, 86, formerly of Temple, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Berks Heim.

Born on February 11, 1937, he was a son to the late Floyd E. and Irene (Stepsie) Bailey. Richard was the husband of the late Peggy L. (Kline) whom he married on May 2, 1964 and shared 52 years of marriage at her time of passing in 2017.

Richard was a 1955 Fleetwood High School Graduate and a proud United States Army Veteran.  He enjoyed dirt track racing and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Richard was employed by Gliden Paint Company for 38 years until his retirement in March of 1999; Later he worked at 222 Beer Distributor

Richard is survived by his son, Michael R. Bailey, husband of Krystyne McAnaney of Temple.

In addition to his wife and parents, Richard was predeceased by his sons, David and James Bailey.

A visitation will be held, Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple. It is Richard’s wish that everyone attends in casual attire.

A burial will take place in Pleasant View Cemetery.
